Powermatic 2 - New electric from CB

Postby packrat on 29 Oct 2009, 14:16

I don't see any review (s) posted for the new electric model on the market   I would already have one, but as we all know, economic conditions are not at their best, so I don't have the money to just pi$$ away...Cause I don't NEED one of those, I just really would LIKE to have one :yesnod: I would have thought that by now though, that at least one person would've bought one.....inquiring minds want to know.

just wanted to post this on the way out.
This powermatic 2 is the best cigarette stuffer I have ever seen. Period. End of story.

We have sold hundreds and have not heard 1 complaint. Not 1. Even from brand new customers who have never stuffed a tube in their life.
That is cmpletely unheard of. We have never experienced such enthusiasm and word of mouth from any machine we've carried in the 16 years we've been open. Nuff said.

Also there is a topomatic called the T2 for you dedicated hand crankers or off the grid survivalist types. It is a bad ass machine.

Later all and good luck to everyone!

I have one on the way, and for a hundred bucks it's going to be on my bench now, unlike the vaporware Magnum, which I fear won't be out any time soon if DK's involvement is as much as he claims.

Are you going to make a video with it? I want to see more of it in action instead of just that 45 sec video at CB.

Wow

This machine is hands-down the easiest injector I have ever used. I made 20 cartons in one sitting to sell to friends, and it didn't jam once!

Ok. Not really.

But in the sticks I have injected so far (couple hundred over several days), it is flawless. Pipe, regular and shag, all cuts ran through the machine without issue. Toss the plastic tamper, it's easy once you use it a little to get the chamber filled properly. Time of course will tell on durability, but I think it will last.

Think of a Supermatic or TOM with a motor. Light years better than any auger, and while I do not have a Magnum to compare with, I am not waiting for a "coming soon" product, but injecting smoke ready cigarettes every time, TODAY. A few carrot-tops (I could care less about that), and NOT ONE short injection (filter void).

If you are using a big crank, you have the skills necessary to operate this machine.
Brain-dead simple, easy to clean. Looks to be well built. Not really any faster than a TOM or a SM, but easier.

I am not inclined to take it apart. Buy your own if you wanna see the inside ;)

Highly recommend!

Well, i think you validated my decision, because I was going to wait for the Magnum for another month, but I might end up getting this machine instead. I've been waiting way too long now (since March '08). I'll probably get it in a month.

I want to see how it does with 100's because most of the time when I make 100's, I end up putting in a little too much baccy.

You should do video demo!

I'll do a video demo when I get mine, but it won't be for a while. I'm getting sick of waiting for the Magnum.
