So needless to say it was cone shaped cause the filter is not all that thin. There is a bit of a learning curve using an injector and a tube that's that thin (6.5mm). The filter is 20mm long, the paper is tasteless, thin and cork colored tipping with the same cool Ramback print job. I can see why it's part of the Ramback line of tubes, it's a perfect match to the tobacco.
The Ramback 6.5mm compliments their Elite line, a same scaled-down miniature which retains the 20mm filter, presumably the high-density Elite employs to distinguish it regular Ramback Kings (with low-density filters).
Not much, really, to D&R's 6.5mm slide injector. Other than initially having to figure that a loose included plastic piece is for compressing tobacco in the chamber. Seriously thought I must still be on an automatic with the D&R, hand-dumping only tobacco into the chamber channel, and that a protruding slot above on upper assembly, somehow, would do all the rest. One jamming machine for $10, until I re-picked up the compressor piece and looked over the machine, figuring its usage.
Different from Elites, though, these 6.5mm cigarettes have a sharp, cutting edge. One, a slider simply isn't going compress an automatic's efficiency: looser packs means hotter and harsher;- Two, Ramback's 6.55mm design proportions do not impede the draw -- draw as hard on a regular king, and Ramback 6.5mm certainly won't slow its burning down the tube all the faster.
Does have the benefit that tobacco characteristics are closer to apparent, provided that apparency is acceptable. King-light filter tubes -- Rizla+, Gizeh Silver Tip Charcoal, Ramback Elite, ZigZag and Zen Light 100mm -- all have tobacco-filtering mass which initially lightens the smoke and variously (manufacturer tube design factors) affects flavoring. Not a bad sort of tester, Ramback's 6.5mm, although it's probably safe to assume, given sufficient quantity, that your throat may also notice aspects of their transparency.
Had hopeful expectations, although I don't think this tube is worth giving up my stock of aforementioned, thicker light tubes.
