Discussion topic for D&R's Cigarette Blends - Superior Tobaccos, Blended to Beat Factory Made.

  • Rowland Platinum
A balanced blend of burley, flue-cured and oriental tobaccos. Flavored to taste like popular Premium U.S. factory made cigarettes. Developed for those who requested a flavored RYO blend with a more pleasant aroma and a superior taste compared to a typical American cigarette. Smooth and satisfying with a familiar finish on the palate.

  • TwoTimer
An American Blend of 100% air-cured Burley tobaccos, double toasted to reduce ammonias and vegetative components. This delicious blend is smooth and flavorful with a nutty taste and natural sweetness. The wonderful aroma adds to the sensory delight. Finished with a light topping.

  • TwoTimer Gold
An American blend of the finest quality double toasted air-cured Burley and flue-cured Gold Leaf tobaccos. This delicious blend is smooth and flavorful, out of the ordinary yet familiar, and seductive with a nutty flavor and natural sweetness.

This tobacco should come with a sticker; warning: makes everything else boring. Best of the Best in my opinion. Now if only it came in a menthol version. Highly recommended, if youre thinking of getting a bag, save on the shipping and get two. :blulaugh:

D&R even nailed the classic American smell on Rowland Platinum. This smells like cigarettes did when I was a kid. I would always pick up my parents (or anyones) smokes to get that raisin like smooth scent well before I ever took my first puff. It took me a while to notice this, but its a dead ringer for it. Maybe I didnt notice it cuz cigarettes don't smell like that anymore.

Any blend you see in this D&R section IS available even though some of them aren't listed on their site. You have to order by phone or just add the tobaccos you want in the 'special notes' area on the check out form. Although I don't feel comfortable doing that, so I always order by phone to make sure I'm getting exactly what I want.

Rowl plat is an excellent American blend imo. Anyone coming from premium precons to RYO should love this one. Familiar yet unique and far superior in flavor. I'm sure this one will stay in my daily lineup.

I do not care for Rowland: the aroma reminded me of a summer job i had @ RJR casing burley: Sticky Sweet chocolate/licorice.

I find Rowland Gold much more enjoyable.....From a guy who smoked a lot of Camels
